George Saunders: a life well lived.
As his namesake I feel it’s necessary to leave a comment on this great memorial to my grandfather. Having the name George Stuart Saunders will always make me feel so connected to my grandfather as well as George Jr., my uncle. I love to hear stories of my grandfather and as I was just fifteen years old when he passed. This past weekend we added another member to the Saunders family as my cousin and close friend, Luke (Kerby’s 4th child), married in Saint Louis, MO. At the ceremony and reception, I couldn’t help to think about my family especially Grandpa George. Please contact me with any memories or stories about my grandfather as any note about his life would be much appreciated.
Thank you,
George S. Saunders III
